How great to come together in a small apartment to see a friend who had been sick, and show him how much we loved him.
This friend who was sick, has the most uncanny ability to reach out to others, to welcome us into his apartment, to share himself
and where he lives with others. It's so much more common to meet in restaurants and less personal places, but it is so special
to open our homes and our more private spaces to people we trust. Socializing is important, for singles, for couples, for divorced people, for children.
Groups have a magic that is not possible one on one, or alone. Groups are unpredictable and sometimes scary; they have a mind of their own. But when
groups work, and people support one another, and show one another they are 'safe' and that communication, heart to heart, is possible, it can be magic.
