Winter Feelings

Spring is coming up soon, despite NY still having storms and cold, rain and wind.. But I write to you from sunny Arizona, where it was almost 80 degrees today. I love warm weather, but there is something to be said for the cozy contemplative feelings a winter day like the one in the picture evokes. Regardless of the season, I believe allowing us to have change of seasons, and moods, in our hearts- winter, spring, summer and fall feelings, of cocooning, hoping, celebrating and preparing for loss, respectively, can enrich our lives.
